CLUBHOUSE REDEVELOPMENT
The redevelopment of the clubhouse at Tuffins has been a long time coming. Efforts over the past decades have met with delay or defeat for a range of reasons.
Our objective is to have a clubhouse that allows us to efficiently run our competitions, provide amenity to our members and provide a facility that optimises the use of the Tuffins Lane Sports Fields.
The Directors of Port Touch, led by President Wayne Prince and with the strong support of outgoing directors Min Cotter and Brent Steep, recently adopted a three stage approach:
Stage 1. Refurbishment of the existing building.
Stage 2. Design and approvals for a new building or an extension to the existing building, and the installation of a covered concrete slab for the Port Makos marquee at State Cup and JSC(N).
Stage 3. Construction and fit out of the new building.
Stage 1 will be undertaken this year (2020) !! It will be finished this winter !!
Stage 2 will also commence this year.
Stage 1 is now well underway and should be completed by mid September.
